www.lickglobalwarming.org

Age group: Grades 5-12
Geographic area: U.S.

Turn up the heat on your personal action in order to turn down the heat on the planet. Learn about the causes and effects of global warming through the Lick Global Warming website, and sign on to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in your own daily habits. From replacing light bulbs to doing laundry, we can all find ways to lower the heat on our planet caused by greenhouse gases. After learning where and how the world is changing because of the release of these emissions, pledge to reduce up to 14,750 pounds of carbon dioxide this year just by changing a few simple routines. Lick Global Warming is a campaign to prevent global warming initiated by Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream, Save Our Environment, and Dave Matthews Band.
